This has been driving me nuts for awhile now... But has anyone else noticed the impossibility of missing airships and other content? It doesn't take a game programmer to realize that if you have the code to run a ferry, you have the code to run an airship.

Programmers don't actually have to hard-code aerodynamics to make it fly ya know... Unless SE hired a really bad code monkey that made a class called FerryToLimsa(), making an airship should take no more than 50 lines and some database bookkeeping

Although the graphic artists might take longer to design the flying boat, it's nearly impossible to not have the ability to implement airships if you can implement boats...

So, why are these things being held back? Is SE planning an 'expansion' which would constitute pay-to-play for us all, releasing it with a big 'bang' of everything we've always wanted--including that pony from Christmas in '94?

I could see the flaw in implementing these improvements slowly after a launch flop, as fan-fare is required to salvage a project like this... But that's the only reason I can come up with for the lack of obvious quick-fix content.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one noticing that the only difference between a ferry and an airship are textures and a 'Wooosh' noise
