    Mount resistance

Do you guys think they should add Reistances to the Beastman Mounts you can buy for stuff like Heavy Or Paralize Or whatever stuff the new beatsman areas will hit you with.
Because that stuff is Really anoying!!! & pointless as we are just going to run off from it anyway.

Another bonus to the idea is it'd help justify its overpriced cost compared to lack of in game Gil.

Anyway what are your guys thoughts?

Judging by their stance on minions to be purely cosmetic I don't see them adding any special benefits to using one mount over the other. They've made it pretty clear that for vanity things such as mounts they want the player to simply pick whichever one they enjoy the most.

Apparently the 'Heavy' effect that hits mounts is actually from 1.0, where it had a different name (that actually made sense). Wish they wouldn't fix things that aren't broken and confuse people.

i just wish mobs had diminishing returns on there dots like we do, we cant spam heave for a full 20sec everytime so many times it's been 1sec till it drops off only to be hit again for 20sec

Acutally you might be right, what we get hit with in 2.0 is HEAVY the de-buff same move BLM can use to enemys & its animation, in 1.0 it was just WEAKNESS chocobos got hit with which was named different & different animation.
Also tho Paralize also effects the mounts......
If they would rename it & change the animation for it then yeah that would make more sence than what they have done which is confusing.

It only happen if you get hit in the back while riding.
And it is everywhere, not only in the beastmen strongholds.

I'm sure it was Gravity (the 1.0 name for Heavy). Weakness make no sense because it was (and still is if ressurected by a player) a dead-penalty.

Found this in the 1.19 patch notes:
Players will be detected by enemies as they would if they were on foot.
If attacked while on chocoback, players will sustain less damage than they would if on foot.
If attacked from behind while on chocoback, there is a chance that the blow will cause a player's chocobo to lose speed.
If a chocobo takes too much damage, he will buck his rider and escape back to his stables.
Players can dismount their chocobos at any time by clicking on the chocobo icon located in the micro menu.
The following actions cannot be executed while on chocoback: attacks, class actions, magic casting, gathering, synthesis, item repairs, item usage, speaking with NPCs, attuning to aetheryte
There are some locations into which a chocobo will refuse to enter, such as city-states and dungeons.

It wasn't Heavy/Gravity, it was its own status effect called Lame and even had the chocobo in the icon.

I'd like them to bring that back that way we can dismount and not retain the Heavy effect, which IMO is the most frustrating part since why would your own movement speed be decreased when your mount was the one that took damage.
