A noob's call for help: SMN guide

Hello all, so after playing the first month of launch I had to stop because of conflicting work issues. Just came back and finished level my only toon to a level 50 Summoner and im here to ask for some help in figuring out some of the end game stuff. So after try to find and piece together some information and not really getting anywhere I just thought I ask A few question and some help.

    1. What accuracy cap?
    2. What stats should I be trying to stack?
    3. Rotation, rotation, rotation, for both signal target and aoe.
    4. What should I be doing with my summon and which one should i be useing (pros and cons for each of them)
    5. Macros? (Haven't done anything with FF14 macros so assume I know nothing about making them outside of finding the macro interface in game.)
    6. Spells from other jobs (thm only?)
    7. Anything else? (please if I missed anything help me out here.)
    Ty for all the help.

p.s. Any good place to find guides on some of the level 50 dungeons and raids? TY again.

    2. WD > INT > DTR > CRT > SS
3a. ST: Keep dots up, Fester often, Shadow Flare if they stand in it for >12 secs, Miasma II before Contagion
3b. AoE: 3Dot (Bio2/Miasma/Bio) a target, Bane, Shadow Flare, if more targets, repeat, if not, Miasma II and spam Blizzard II
    4. Garuda all the time, keep it on Obey, manually use Contagion/Aerial Slash when needed
    5. Don't worry about macros, the only thing worth using are stuff like /ac "Swiftcast" <me>, /ac "Resurrection" <t> that you can spam to get out quickly.. if it has /wait in it, waste of time
    6. Swiftcast/Blizzard from THM, Raging Strikes from ARC (Quelling too if your tank sucks)
    7. Read other threads, there are tons of them explaining all this in much more detail

Aside from the swiftcast Resurrection macro you can have:

    Code:
    /micon Rouse
    /ac "Rouse" <me>
    /ac "Spur" <me>
    /ac "Raging Strikes" <me>
I mostly use this for space compression so I can have more freedom with my keys, but other then that I use this at the start of boss fights and it works out nicely (keep those 3 skills on your bar somewhere unreachable but noticeable so you can know when to hit the button)

Also good to have for lazy healers:
    Code:
    /micon "Eye for an Eye"
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <t>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <tt>
    And for party coordination:
    Code:
    /micon "Virus"
    /ac "Virus" <t>
    /p Virus on <t>!

Don't forget to slap Eye for an Eye on the tank if he's heading into a massive mob or the boss is about to get really nasty (also Virus). Summoner really shines when it comes to flexibility. Debuffing enemies and raising party members can make or break a party sometimes.

"Lazy healers" you say... When the tank is topped off or taking no damage I see Eye for an Eye go straight on the tank, not coming from me... It would be nice if you would do your damage role rather than helping a healer who doesn't need help... Or learning when to cast Eye for an Eye so it is most effective, instead of casting it when it's least effective.
Seriously, WHM main SMN off-spec, seeing dps "help" me pisses me off, it would be more helpful if you concentrate on dps.

E4E is off GCD, has a fairly decent duration and once procced lasts on the enemy for 20 seconds. It's not something like Virus where you can time it perfectly in rotations and it's not something that needs to be saved. Also SMN has the trait for reduced CD on it so there's really no reason for us not to use it. Yeah it's better to time it when both tanks are doing stuff, but in a normal situation, or a situation like T5 where one casting can reduce the damage from 2-3 death sentences it's fine.
