During beta test phase 2, players have the option to participate using pre-existing characters from the Windows and PlayStation®3 versions. Furthermore, testing will be conducted on public Worlds. All newly created characters can be created on a data center and World of your choosing, and will carry over to official service after the beta test has concluded.

The Ps4 beta is nothing new , For the most part, you get more console gamers to play a good console mmo. Also with it. Yet i think elder scrolls going give square little run or destiny. or some the half dozen free to play mmo's.

As a fan of the Elder Scroll series, after playing/watching Alpha/Beta I will not be playing it. Just did not appeal to me. I've heard a lot of chatter in XIV with similar feelings. Though not sure how many are just FF die hards.
