    Duty Roulette and FC Credits

    Since the release of patch 2.1, playtime with friends and FC mates has drastically decreased. It is much more time efficient to simply do 1 duty roulette a few different days a week to reach your myth cap. Before the patch grouping with people we knew for such content was a major point of the game. But now if we want to group with our friends and FC mates, we are "punished" because it will take much longer and more dungeon runs to reach the myth cap each week. I recall in the past a community rep mentioned that we would eventually be able to queue as a group sometime in the future, but when is it coming? I dearly hope it is coming in patch 2.2.

    I also wanted to propose a bonus for doing dungeons with your FC mates. As it stands currently in my FC, we spend way more FC credits each day than we make. When 2.1 launched, we had around 450,00 credits I believe. We are now down to ~200,000. I think it would be great if we received FC credits based on how many members of a party are in the same FC. In fact I think presently FC credits are in need of an explanation. To my knowledge there is no information in game that discusses where FC credits may be accumulated from. Although frankly I think they should come from pretty much anything if they do not already... quests, dungeons, raids, levequests, guildhests, daily quests, treasure maps. Anyway, I think that at least adding FC credits and myth bonuses to dungeons would re-strengthen the necessary and slipping bond between FC mates.

    I personally haven't seen a difference in how quickly you can cap myth since the patch. I also don't see how you're punished running with friends and FC members. While you don't get the bonus from DR you can still farm tomes/loot if you have a steady 4 or 8 man party depending on the run. Does no one in your FC ask if anyone wants to do a specific dungeon? Just because you have capped out doesn't mean others have. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the issue and my apologies if I have. And I can't comment on credits because I don't get how they work either.

    Right now I am capping off CT trying to get the specific piece of loot I want before the end of the week. I end up capping twice or even more if I stay up on my DR's.
    We just end up running CT together as much as we can to ensure we get a "good" group that will not Epic fail on Behemoth or Derp it out on Atmos.

    I agree with the OP. For anyone who doesn't understand the sentiment, it's basically that there is a large portion of the population in this game (myself and most of my FC included) that view capping myth as something of a chore. You get 150 (or 200 for some) from coil easily and then if you're going after any level 80 gear you'll probably end up getting at least 100-200 from CT unless you're really lucky or not at all picky. That leaves 100-200, maybe more, maybe less, tomes to get from dungeons that you've done a million times already. You can knock it out quickly and probably easily with the DR getting 70-90 per run. This means that you really only have to do DR a few times to be done with myths, so a lot of people just plan on getting whatever number of remaining myths leisurely through DR when they have the time throughout the week. Granted this is what the devs were going for, but the side effect is that it's not only less rewarding (in game rewards rather than intangible good times) to run dungeons with friends, but the need to run them at all has been so greatly lessened that there's no need/ point to running them with a pre-made group.

    Personally I think the DR bonus should allow for any groups, even granting the bonus for premade 4/8 man groups (though no 'needed role' bonuses), because currently it encourages 'solo' play at the expense of playing with friends. Granted this is only for myth capping and any serious content has nothing to do with this, but still I had a lot of fun running dungeons with friends before 2.1 and it really just hasn't happened since then.

    EDIT: The reason some people are inclined to go the quick route for myth farming is that play time is fairly limited so the most economical approach wins. I'd just like the most fun approach to at least be competitive with the current DR bonuses.

    As for the FC credits....I have no idea. It's bugged me since I started that there's virtually no explanation of how they're generated. I think my FC has been gaining credits steadily, but we also have several members actively leveling 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. classes. I'd like at least an explanation of FC credit generation so people can actively work towards that or at least be thinking about it, and possibly a revision, though I couldn't say since I have almost no idea how they're generated and at what quantities.

    Totally agree with regards to the FC credits, kudos on a refreshing new idea. My FC is also having a similar issue and I would assume its due to the lower number of people running fates since 2.1.

    I do however have to disagree that you are punished for running dungeons with your FC. Sure you cap faster with DR but I personally have way more fun running them with friends and FC members where everyone gets the loot they need, knows their jobs and talks through out the run. It will always be much more rewarding than silent speed runs of WP with strangers. In addition registering with a full party is an instant pop, so also quicker in that way.

    Its a risk/reward system. Run with FC less risk, therefore less reward. Roulette pairs with randoms, thus increasing risk, and should thusly increase reward. I can run instances faster with FC mates and guarantee the win, rather than potentially getting three fail groups before a successful run. Running with friends is also more rewarding in general. I fail to see the problem.

    I see your point, but I am not sure DR is always quicker. DR gives you 40 extra tomes, but you may end in a more difficult dungeon with a party that might be experienced and geared or just the opposite, compared to going with your friends to the dungeon of your choice (if you are bored of repeating WP.) WP even in DF usually lasts about 30 minutes, with your friends probably less. The random dungeon will last 45 min, 1 hour, or more, there may be a vote abandon after some wipes, etc. CT is good for the loot and gives many tomes, but it's quicker to farm myth tomes in WP, even in DF. CT takes about 1 hour normally, but sometimes there are problems and it takes longer.

    How I wish doing duties will yield FC credits as well, I'm not sure if it gives atm, if it does it seems the numbers are pretty low.

    I'm teamed with one other person in our FC, and we run Duty Finder groups almost exclusively. It seems like a genuine oversight that these dungeons don't reward FC Credits at all.

    Has there ever been an official reply in regards to how FC can earn credits? It also baffles me we dont seeem to get credit from dungeons which in terms of loot/learning your job should be more rewarding than rofl stomping fates.
