Error 5006 - Lobby Server Error

just logged out to switch to another character and got booted out by error 5006. now I get it every time after entering password and clicking Play, if the Data center I select is Aether (I'm from Balmung). Swapping to a japanese datacenter (Gaia, I have an alt on Zeromus) didn't give me any issue.

Edit: After logging in the Japanese server and going back out to the main menu, I was able to access the Aether data center and then log on Balmung successfully.

Sarg here. Getting hit with this error and the 9k error constantly. Was in the middle of doing BRD AF quests too =(

Have the problem here too on Odin, cannot connect to data center.

i cant connect to my char at all on balmung it say lobby server error... :/

I had this issue and after reading comments, i too connected to a character i had made on jp servers during beta. I was then able to connect first try.

Attempted to login on server Faerie and was greeted with Error 5006 as well. Tried multiple times with the same result.


EDIT: After 5th attempt, I was able to get in.

Same here! logged out to change to my main. now i cant get back in
