That's an ass-backwards excuse.

Lack of alt mail doesn't discourage RMT at all, they just trade gil/items back and forth through their other stolen accounts. It inconveniences the legitimate players more than it does botters and RMT.

Funny how theyre so anal about RMT and stopping them, yet this is possibly the worst game I have ever played as far as RMT spam goes. It is completely ignorant on their part to just block players from doing this because of RMT. I dont even know how this can be abused! Hack an account, make a new character, then send all the gold to the new character? So? Still same account!

On Sarga, I will get spam even before I exit my inn-room. On Aegis, I'll see one line of spam per fortnight. Perhaps the RMT don't understand japanese.

Nevermind, 'mailing to alts'. Shared bank account! I second this.

Or... have your alt (and main), as a retainer. Your character, your alternate... your retainer. I'd be happy to give up the current 2 retainer per character to have this.

Remember how you could 'dress-up' your retainers in 1.X? Having your character becoming a retainer isn't new. Anyone remember the impromptu 'market place' right outside Jeuno... players would put themselves in Bazaar mode and go AFK (climate change be darned!).

Some tweaking will need to be done (Uniques will no longer be storable on retainers) but I'm sure the smart people at SE can figure it out. 1.x to ARR... this should be cake.

Here's one better, not only have I gotten RMT seller spam when awaking in my Inn Room, I got them when I made my two newer characters to check out other servers IN THE TUTORIAL, you know before you can even SEE any other players in those first few minutes. Could not believe it. Still annoys me. The reason you cannot shout/say inside main cities without being hassled by the RMT'rs is still a reason for me to be p-o'd as well.

They friggin still own this game if you look at all the 'controls' in place that inconvenience we the players and yet they continue to be abundant - bots all over the place reported, still there weeks, months later, and still having to blacklist tells. Please.

FUNNY THING IS...... JP server has almost extinction of RMTers shouters or any of the tlikes!

Can only send items to people on your friend list.

You can try to get a few friends together and make a new free company with alt chars and try to use the free company chest to transfer stuff.

maybe it makes it easier for SE to track RMT Money movement that way? i'm no expert but its something that comes to mind.
