    [Suggestion] Buffing/Enhancing Shoulder Tackle

    I love shoulder tackle for PvP, but I feel like it's missing something. Monk is a highly mobile class, and we are very dependent on having near full up-time on our target. Shoulder Tackle helps us chase people who get away from us, but if that target is stun immune and/or sprinting then it is only slightly beneficial.

    My suggestion is this: give Shoulder Tackle an addition effect that gives the MNK increased movement speed for 3 seconds.

    This seems like it would fit with our mobility model really well, and would help a lot for those situations where we are trying to keep up with those who are trying to get away from us.

    If you're thinking about Shoulder Tackle from a PvP perspective then I think a snare effect attached to it would be more idea.

    The thing is that we already have a 'snare effect' available through Weapon Throw, as well as Heavy from a BLM or WHM. I don't think adding another heavy into the mix would do anything other than waste DR's - a speed buff on the other hand would always be helpful.

    Not to mention it already has a stun - I don't think adding another detrimental effect is the way to go.

    What do you exactly mean by slight? Coz if I am to compare Fist of Wind speed buff, it's the same with Swiftsong, which is fast enough already, the next boost there will be is from Sprint already.

    Swiftsong is faster than FOW, and not to mention it's out of combat only so not relevant to my suggestion at all.

    Like melee would need any buffing in PvP, it's hell for caster's already. If casters have some change to run away you want to also take that away and just make melee the ultimate PvP dps and completely destroy what is left of ranged dps?

    This is your opinion, which is great, but it's not what I have seen. Casters are not in any trouble PvP; a top-notch SMN will always out damage me on my Monk by 20% or more, and BLM's utility is in a very good place. Healers are the ones who are sprinting for 75% of the fight anyway, and they are who this would help the most on.
