Now…on to my opinions. In the spirit of “ease of reading” I’ll refer to post numbers instead of quoting.

Valid point. MMOs are not offline games. Excellent perspective. I appreciate what you’re saying about the content and/or lack thereof so to speak. But being a new mmo, I expected this much from experience. I don’t like how materia is used, how cross classes are utilized, or a few other things for that matter. I do see the potential however.
Thank you for your post.
xD Tetris anyone? thanks for the input.
I disagree with the second sentence, but fully agree with the last. GIMME BACON!!!! DANGLE THAT!
I left a linkshell due to a similar sentiment. I didn’t raise a fuss, just said thanks for everything and left. It started to become coil oriented only, and some of the people seemed rather elitist.
I hope you find people you enjoy playing with (coil included), and the the community doesn’t ruin it for you. When given lemons…make lemonade!
Agree almost fully.
I clearly stated he hasn’t beat t5 yet, so no.
Even though you didn’t exactly read the original post, I really appreciate your perspective. Thank you for the input and keeping it civil. WHO DOESN’T LIKE CAKE?!?!?!
I think FFXI never went f2p. That should be an indication I would imagine.
Ya, I haven’t even done ct yet, and I leveled my monk to 50 after it came out. Seems like a waste of a great idea. Thanks for the input! Well thought out.
What a great way to look at it. Some of the things people bring up as flaws are indeed relevant concerns imo, but man, WHAT AN AWESOME POST! Take my like.
I disagree somewhat, but you have a point. I hope future expansions changes your perspective. Thank you very much for the input.
Personally, I disagree with your post in it’s entirety. However, seeing as how you were very articulate and civil, I wouldn’t mind engaging in that conversation with you sometime…somewhere….another thread maybe. Thank you very much for your input.
xD lmao. Good thing I exercise my thumbsThanks for the laugh mate.
I didn’t think about that first paragraph you said there….the rest I’m not exactly familiar with, except for pharos….U SIRIUS?!?! I LOVE THAT DUNGEON! Just joking lol, but I get what you’re saying for the most part.
Again, it’s just future gratification planning. And to be frank, I only see this trend in the forum. This is the first time I’ve experienced it in game. Thanks for the input.
xD “Game gets in it’s own way” I disagree, but I absolutely love that!
Indeed.
Saying passive aggressive is EXACTLY what that was. If you say, “If I wasn’t so civil, I would slap you” it’s passive aggressive.
And if you want to get technical, I didn’t call him/her any names, didn’t say anything derogatory towards them (like ****rider), or anything of the sort.
When someone doesn’t actually read what you say, you are allowed to say, “letters make words, words make sentences, we use them to communicate”. It may be crass, but it’s also factual. It can almost be considered advice…technically. So no. As for the rest, thanks.
I’m glad that was quoted.
Indeed I do. You’ll be seeing a lot from me in the suggestion threads soon. Thanks for the input. Well thought out.
Agreed. I think the initial stages of this thread verified that most of the problem with changes in this game is due to the players more than anything else. However, I have years of forum experience ie trolling and getting trolled and I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. I am free. It’s like achallenge to me now. I’ve helped temper forums before, looks like I’ll be trying again.
I appreciate your insight, but don’t you think that’s a bit of an overstatement?
Agree with the latter.
Idk man, I’m seeing more use out of alchemy than I thought I would…and so are my greedy friends xD. But ya, there’s room for improvement.
I am in like with you, can we hang?
Thank you.
I largely agree with the sentiment, but not the delivery. But ya, I agree.
I play a lot and have 4 classes at 50 (includes 2 crafters). I guess I’m not casual enough? I’m sorry, but I don’t really buy that “I only play 5-10 hours a week and have everything at 50” thing. Not that you said that exactly…just saying.
I agree with almost every single thing you said. Thank you so much for the well thought out post. Really appreciate it.
Thank you, and I as well. Thank you for everyone contributing to that. This forum isn’t lost yet.
I absolutely LOVE your perspective. I love playing with people in that mindset. However, what I will elude to in my eventual conclusion is questioning what has changed from my friends perspective. Let me give you an example of some things he would say:
“I am not interested in a linkshell coil. It is something that should be done within an FC to promote relevance to said FC.”
“We need to start putting our personal FF goals aside in order to help FC members actualize theirs goals in game. If they progress, the FC progresses.”
“stuff like that”
I can’t figure out what changed in him. The things he loved to do seemed to all of the sudden become lackluster. I understand perspectives change, and so do preferences, but he used to be so adamant about it ya know? Anyway, I’ll deduce more later.
Thanks a mil for such an awesome post!
It doesn’t appear to be so. The only time I hear anything about people leaving or anything of that nature is in the forums. I’m ina pretty small FC, but still get help from them, and get oodles of help from my linkshells. I think it’s more about “customers only voice negative concerns”. Ya know, the whole “No one every writes thank you letters when they’re satisfied with a product” thing. Not saying there are not improvements that need to/should be made.
That would be an awesome idea. I’d love to see that stuff +1.
I REALLY hope you two remain in Eorzea with me and my wife. But in addition, I REALLY hope you are involved in the suggestion section seeing as how you’re obviously very smart and very well articulated. Collaboration amongst the mature and civil crowd is in dire need of this forum.
And the second half of your post is so well laid out, it SHOULD be in the suggestion section somewhere. Hope to see you over there soon. Thank you so much.
I’ll disagree with this sentiment again, but I thank you very much for being very civil. Hope you stick around mate.
I am kinda honored to see your post bud. I’ve read a lot of what you’ve had to say throughout this forum and respect your opinion a lot. Thank you very much for the contribution. And DANG o.0….that sounds like a nightmare lol.
We are not the same person and you’re off topic, please get on topic. If you’d like, come to mateus and raid with us both, that’ll be all the proof you need. Thank you.
Thank you for the support, but again, please be on topic guys.

GOD I’M EXHAUSTED!!!
Thank you so much for the insight and opinions. I feel this thread has given me an edge considering my future conversation with my friend. I thank you. I would like to say more, but I really have to stop now.
*EDIT
Thank you
