PS4 beta... early ?

If you get it early you dont have too deal with slow downloading times on 22 Feb or early and that also means that you can pull the updates much faster. Remember when the Open beta started ?

It`s already waiting on mine PS4 for the 22 of feb .

I remember downloading during the open BETA at 2-3+MB/s. The speed was fine, never had any issues.

It will be avaliable on all PSN stores for the regions FFXIV is avaliable in, it's currently up on the JP PSN Store because the console releases there on the 22nd, so the store will be updated prior to launch so when the japanese sales go through the roof the first thing they'll see is "Final Fantasy XIV:ARR, now on PS4! Try the BETA for free!".

So I can assure you PS3 users upgrading and people who haven't played before will be grabbing that.

Sorry I don't know if I'm missing something but I can't see the answer to my question, sorry if I'm just being blind XD. Either way, if I did want to download it from JP PSN, would I have to make a new PSN account or could I use my Australian one to access it? I know you have to in PS3, but not sure if they have changed the rules for PS4 .
Basically I want to know so if I can access it early, I will to prevent downloading it when everyone else will (will take less time).

The FFXIV PS4 beta is scheduled to release in the US PSN store on the 18th. Was posted on the blog there, so we won't have to worry about downloading it on the 22nd. Also have you downloaded stuff on the PS4? That thing downloads like a beast and patches said game while downloading.

Yes , If you wanna access the JP store you need a JP account
