What do you think about this: "Gods"

Primals are fun. Coil is nice. Can't wait for the new primals and the new turns. New content always makes us happy (for some people that happiness lasts about 1 day xD).

But how about we can do coil (and maybe primals) to gain access to "Gods". I'm sure the lore fanatics can come up with a better name, but Kirin came to mind and he is a God to me in the FF series.

How would this work: 8 people clear turn 6. Those same 8 people will (automatically) gain a crystal or token or whatever fits the lore. This item will grant these chosen 8 the power to fight Kirin, roaaaaar!

Kirin only spawns once every X hours. However, to avoid all claim-botting, Kirin randomly chooses one player. The other 7 members in the party can fight Kirin together with the claimed player. Should you down him, you'll have to wait to do turn 6 again to get access to him again.

I can already hear you say "not possible, too much people in the area, the fight would lag". Well, they can also opt for a gate to spawn which chooses one player and port you to the fight. I just think it's way more fun when you see people fight this giant God. Should you die, the gate or Kirin himself (if it's in the open world) will claim another player (not from the party that just fought him).

I'm sure this needs tweaking and whatnot. It's just a rough idea and I'm curious what other people think of this. Maybe we'll get something going!

Gods =/ Evil

There are plenty of actual GODS in the Final Fantasy universe (Cosmos, Chaos, Hydaelyn, The Twelve, etc), there are many more "Gods" (Super-powerful beings with god complexes, i.e. Mateus, Xande, Cloud of Darkness, Zeromus, The Creator, Enuo, Kefka, Jenova, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Necron, Yu Yevon, etc.)

Actual Gods aren't inherently evil, they are merely personifications of their ideals. It's the "Gods" that are usually kinda evil. At least as far as the Final Fantasy universe goes. Heck, the only reason Chaos is percieved as evil is because Square-Enix's writers assume Chaos is always evil rather than on its own spectrum separate from evil and opposing Order rather than Good.
