Party search: Add "SP Party" to purpose window

Partying is an essential part of MMO's. However, the party search feature is, once again, completely under-used.

If the option "SP Party" was available under the "purpose" drop down menu, players would use the party search more often.

I, for one, would set it immediately upon logging in. Leaders could use it to find members. It seems that adding this option to the party search would be relatively easy considering the effect it would have to gameplay.

The omission of the "LFG" icon from FFXI is a questionable design choice. Including a "LFG" status as well as /sea command would also allow leaders to create parties. Currently, /shout is the only method used by leaders to create pick-up parties.

Getting a /tell for a (Party) (Do you need it?) was one of the my favorite parts of FFXI.

They just need to scrap the party search and bring back FFXI's recruitment system.

I agree. I would like to see sp groups become more common place instead of everyone just doing leve's and behests.

^ this, the current system is backwards which no one is used to.

I totally agree, they just need to use the party flag system from FFXI. No one uses this new system at all. Even if they add sp party to the menu people probably still wouldn't use it.

The ffxi way was a lot more easier and functioned perfectly imo. You knew who wanted to party, their level, and their terms for partying.

I more or less agree. I don't think the system is currently *bad* per say, but it does need more options. However, as Lancerz said, nobody uses the bloody thing. I have yet to see open parties, or had people join parties I've set up. Ever. If changing the LFG system will get people to actually use it, then I'm all for changing it.

I see nothing wrong with the current system, besides the people not using it, but if changing it around will make people use it they need to do it. The lack of partys is what keeps me from playing this game outside LS event time. I just can't stand soloing.

The lack of people grouping I consider a issue just as important as the lack of content. I enjoy this game playing with others, doing regiments, and killing stuff. I can usually stomach about 1hr solo, before I have to log/go afk and watch TV.

So if SE can get ppl to party the game just improved by 50% for me.
