Okay, so I've seen posts similar to this one, but none with any answers. I started my game about a month ago (I have 5 days left on my trial) and everything was running smoothly. But today, for some reason, when it tried to do the version check, it would give me messages like "Cannot launch FFXIV:ARR. Please register the promotion code included with your package or download. A reinstall will not be necessary" or "Unable to connect to the version check server. [20447][10009][19900][-2140077822]".

So I contacted customer service FIVE times today and it got me absolutely nowhere. I've tried: uninstalling/reinstalling, changing connection from wifi to hardwire, portforwarding (requested by a customer service agent), disabling/enabling javascript and cookies in the web browser.And now that I've reinstalled the game on my PS3, sometimes it will make it to the log in screen and begin to download only to be cut off by an error that states the aforementioned or says something about an error downloading the patch. One of the customer service agents insisted that it was a connection issue and that I had to contact my internet service provider, but that is too much damn work for one game.

The weird thing is that everything was working perfectly yesterday into today (1:30 AM), but when I tried to get on this morning is when all the problems happened. In all, the FFXIV crew needs to get themselves together because this is not cute.

Additional info: Im on PlayStation 3, I only ever use one PSN ID
