I've never been in a group that did it that way.
This looks like a pretty common sense strategy and certainly seems like the way the developers intended it to be beaten. Thanks for the tip!

Also never done it like this.
Actually there is. Take the bone dragon all the way to the end of a row (usually north) and just keep skellies near the south. As long as it's not the same platform it's fine.
A group (near CTs release) swore by the strat of taking the dragon to a wall and taking all skeles to the opposite wall. We wiped 6 times and disbanded. I hope people still don't do it that way, keeping dragon mid makes so much more sense.
One time I was in a group that did it this way.
Changing the position of the boss (a really inefficient position at that) doesn't change the overall strat.
Sure there is and no, I've only wiped on this boss maybe once. In all of the groups I've been in, the MT takes the boss to the end of the row opposite the entrance. The tanks then spread the skeletons out. There's still plenty of room to do so without them getting to close to one another. I'm not saying your strategy is inferior, as it's likely the intended one, but saying "There is literally no other way to do it" is literally wrong.
