A Place to Call Your Own: A "Mog House" Discussion.

This game is fun, but lets face it. It doesn't feel like home.

I feel like one of the things we are missing is a "Mog House" feature. I would love to see a (FFXIV) world where I can go home like in FFXI. But I think that instead of 1 room it should be a house with different features like + to cooking when in a kitchen. Or be able to customize your entire house layout. To be able to have certain rooms designated as crafting rooms. A bedroom with beds you can sleep on (If Minecraft can do so can FFXIV!). And of course, Furniture!

All I'm saying is that I need a place to call me own.

I also miss having a Mog House. Its nice to have a home where you can sit without people running all around.

I would love a "Company House" since they are coming out with Company Airships, or just have a room on the airship ( like click on a door and goto residential area that takes you directly to your room). I don't really want a Moghouse in each city kind of deal, it worked for FFXI but that wouldn't feel right on FFXIV.

I have a feeling though that when Chocobos come around that you will be able to use them as a pack mule of sorts as well as a mount. They said they wanted to do something different with Chocobos that they haven't ever done, and to me that screams packmule. Also I would personally rather see a small camp set up kind of deal, where you could drop down a camp in a safe location and access certain things without having to go to town. That would definitely make you feel more like an Adventurer out on his own or with a group of companions. Just an idea though.

Not sure where you got Airships from, as I understood it was "ships" that was stated by SE. As in boats. I wish it was airships though, that would be awesome!
