CT loot drops tweaked a little bit PLZ

I show up to CT on tank sometimes when the queue is short on tanks, even though I'm after non-tank gear.

I like that CT makes it easier to get alt-job gear. If the system was as you suggest, a lot of people wouldn't bother coming as tanks/healers.

I see a bunch of people saying "Oh but, my alt classes! I want to queue tank to get in quick, get through easy and get gear easy! Who cares if gear no one needs drops to the floor!" Just wow people. You want gear for an alt class? How about you actually play said class to get your gear? I have gone through CTs where not a single drop was looted on, and that's just pathetic. Making everyone else's time more difficult because you want to be lazy is disgusting.
Or here's a thought, how about you put your own party together? You looking to greed caster drops? Make sure you have a caster in your group.
I'm all for OP's idea, the only downside i can see is that CT partyfinder groups may alienate certain classes in order to have better chances that certain gear drops. Even then there's always duty finder, or you know, you can start your own PF group.

eh, I'm not opposed to people using their tank and greeding alt drops. Just don't yell at someone if they need roll the drop. The hardest part of CT is getting into CT. I've sat as healer in a CT PF group for eons waitin on 2 tanks. Inevitably, someone might offer to go as a tank, so that the party can finally get into CT.
I'm not sure how it is on your server, but at the beginning and end of the week, there may be 3-4 CT groups in PF at any given time and all are missing both tanks.

Lazy? I tank every single boss or adds in CT if I do come as tank and noone really wanted to. I wouldn't call that lazy.
How about the times I run with FC that does not have the job I need gears on and have to play tank? Like I need gears for my BLM but none of my FC members that are coming with me play BLM and we don't want to exclude them for a caster just cause it wouldn't drop for me otherwise? I can drop some random people I picked up for other people with the job I want to greed on but I would never do that to FC.
If you say, there's always duty finder, what is stopping me from dropping the group as soon as it starts because there's no BLM/SMN in the group? Sometimes I can't play said class for gear because either:
a. I don't have said class level and just have 1 class already geared better than i80 that CT drops which means I'd either have to power level said class or waste 1 week of loot.
b. My FC group needs a tank to get going and of course I want to help them but like I said above, none of the DPS are caster. So should I ignore them, go on my usual PF for that one caster DPS so I have a chance at greeding something they don't need?

I don\\'t see it that way. I bring my i85 WAR or i88 PLD to CT because that\\'s what\\'s need/ gets fast ques. Nothing from CT is of interest to me for my tank jobs. I also enjoyed hitting 50 on BLM and already being i80 thanks in part to 4/6 crimson.
