Actually, they do. This is so that:
- Action can be taken pre-emptively while they still have time to take it as such.
- There is no excuse for thinking that the XIV playerbase won't care.
This is something that should have been looked into AND dealt with about 9 months ago when the whole deal started and it became apparent there were issues. And as it is a billing/financial matter, it is NOT bound by the dev team's development cycle, workload or a need for server fixes.
As it wasn't fixed before the XI transfer started, this only emphasizes the need to gain as much exposure on the topic as possible at it must have not sufficiently permeated through to the persons concerned in these financial arrangements. Else XI wouldn't be in the mess they are in and we wouldn't be looking at having the same mess happen in the not too distant future.
