See? it's all personal then. It's not going anywhere, because the fellow gamers you seem to be fighting for bought DLC enmasse which showed people gamers are willing to throw away money.

It's not "more money than sense", it's being realistic because realistically speaking, SE is a business and all businesses is out to make money, it's not like there's hidden costs thrown in, you know what you're getting into when you use crysta.
Funny, I'm not a console gamer, so I've rarely, if ever, bought DLC. Yes, I know what's involved with Crysta, and I don't agree with it.

You keep ignoring the fact that there are only two options, which is essentially what puts you between a rock and a hard place - not an acceptable position. What I want to see is a better payment option, and I want to hear about it before subscriptions resume. Otherwise, things aren't going to go well.

And yes, it's personal. Know why? Because I used ClickandBuy once, because Square Enix only offered it as the option. Guess what happened? My CC info has been compromised. Do you think I appreciate that?

So, the reality is: It's Square's fault for forwarding customers to a shady operator, and it's their fault that people have had their credit cards compromised, because they did not do their due diligence on the trustworthiness of the service provider. They clearly did not research fraud reports, agencies that accredit businesses, etc.

So it is my opinion, and my perspective, that just because it is a third party payment processor, does NOT excuse Square Enix from this mess.
