Actually you can contact C&B directly, however you need to do it during Britian's business hours, and be prepared to speak to someone on the phone...also, it may take you a while to get in touch with someone directly...it literally took me two weeks. It was insane. When I did get in touch with someone they were rude to me when I was being nice.
Also, anyone looking to cancel their C&B accounts are better off canceling their current card and getting a new one issued by your bank. Because like many have said, they keep your information on file, some have mentioned they re-activate accounts and start charging, and if you do go through with canceling them on your current card you will be jumping through hoops of fire blindfolded while people are tossing eggs at you...just sayin'
The problem with that is that I'm Deaf, and the relay services here in the U.S. do not do international calls! That makes it impossible!

Still, just as good of a reason to make sure this thread doesn't drop off the front page. I think Square-Enix is either A) kicking the can down the road, or B) Trying to pretend that ClickandBuy is not trouble.
If those who have a personal interest in this issue would help keep this thread on the front page, that would be appreciated. I don't think Square will like seeing their huge glut of PS3 users coming, discovering that ClickandBuy is ready to screw them over, and then leaving in droves.
Sadly they r even putting FFX11 on this aswell. i was thinking getting back on 11 but not now. maybe we should do the same to 14 as ppl are for 11

Yeah I don't plan on letting it die down. It's just too big of an issue for me. I don't like dealing with crooken companies. I understand that Crysta is available and that is most likely the option I will go, however I do feel for people who can't use C&B or crysta or the ultimate card thingies.Still, just as good of a reason to make sure this thread doesn't drop off the front page. I wish I could see what sort of vice C&B has SE's nuts in that would make them move XI to that company as well.

Probably business associates from Eidos, or the Yakuza. The Yaks have a lot of involvement in legitimate business operations like Square-Enix, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were intentionally making their customers easy targets for a hacking operation run by the Yakuza.Yeah I don't plan on letting it die down. To be honest, as it is now, ClickandBuy is a VERY toxic asset, and are not worth the potential collateral damage to Square's customer base. I think we need to find who are current shareholders in Square Enix and ask them to pressure the company to get rid of CnB.
You really think the Yakuza would dabble in a company like SE? I find that hard to believe, however...I don't know a lot about the history and culture of Japan...so who knows...regardless yeah I would like to see the stock holders in SE...would be rather interesting....I think.Probably business associates from Eidos, or the Yakuza. The Yakuza were involved with Nintendo, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. I don't know how we can find out who's a Square-Enix stockholder in the Nikkei, but it's something we'll need to figure out soon if we're going to pressure Square Enix to do the right thing...You really think the Yakuza would dabble in a company like SE?
