Terrible Payment System

I really don't like the idea of Click and Buy either. I don't like the idea of a third party having my information. I had issues with Paypal going into my bank account (roughly 2 years ago now) and withdrawing $4-7 at a time for "service fees" even when I wasn't doing any transactions.


Can a dev/PR person please give some insight as to why we're forced to pay for FFXIV using a shady company like Click and Buy? It's ridiculous that SE an't handle the payments directly themselves.

I was looking forward to updates with the game and would of willingly paid a subscription if I liked the next few patches, but now that I'm finding out that Click and Buy is crap, well, I don't see that happening.

I've just looked online for reviews on click and buy and seems the general idea is that they are scammers. Apparently their customer service is none existent, charging fees, charging credit cards multiple times and god forbid if you ever need a refund from them...
