    I thought about making a thread about this. Like you, I also hate the payment options for FFXIV. I will be extremely reluctant to choose an option when it comes down to it.

    Nor should you have to. You have a perfectly acceptable payment method: a credit card. Everyone else takes them. It's an expected business expense. If a convenience store can accept a $1 charge without charging a processing fee, SE can. In any case, I thought our cardholder agreement with Visa International prohibits usage surcharges.
