Ive used payment methods like this before, so what is the big issue with the Clickandbuy? Ive not seen any abuse with my CC info.

If you read the whole thread people have put up tons of reason's why C&B is not a good company. They have a F rating with the BBB, they have complains against them about reopening accounts people have closed and starting to charge them again, they have fraud charges against them, players that live in the EU have had their banks tell them not to use C&B because they have a bad reputation.. etc etc.
You're talking about 250+ posts out of the 350+ giving reasons why NOT to use C&B. If you want to know more just read the thread.
I hope SE realizes that people like me WANT to stay with this game and WANT to play... it's just the two options that they have given aren't like being stuck between a rock and a hard spot... you're kinda eh either way... *sigh*

I cancelled my click and buy account... well I'm in the process of cancelling it. I'm all for monthly pay where they take it out of the card for you but not if the company has bad reviews like it does as well as the horror stories

Hmmm I didn't have trouble cancelling or starting the cancelling process... it's more of a bs process than anything. being a terrible company to close the account you have to wait 7 days from when you started trying to cancel then after the 7 days you have to leave the account alone for a month and then it's inactive and deleted. betcha 10 -1 that if you bounced the account or didn't pay their fees they'd have no compucture to terminate your account in less time

That's great and all that a rep responded on the FFXI forum but what about us. Granted yes we aren't paying to play the game yet but it would be nice for a little drive by post from one of the devs for us as well. Remember not all of us either

B: Still Play FFXI

C: Even realized that they had their own forum as well.
Not saying this to be mean at all either just saying it would help us out some or atleast try to ease our minds on it.

FFXI and FFXIV are both now on the same technical framework for payment through the Square Enix Account Management system, so it stands to reason that if FFXI ends up offering new payment options, FFXIV will mirror those options.That's great and all that a rep responded on the FFXI forum but what about us. Yeah I got that part all down but I meant with the forums and such. I just meant a responce on the forums and as you previous posted the whole we are doing it now is the best responce we can get but for me I'm not to the point you are with anger (and I'm not trying to discredit with how you feel it's understandable) I myself am in Categories B & C of my last post so it's like silence for us XIV players. Aka I'm even in the mood for the platitudes I give to my own customers at my own customer service job.
