I would have to agree, the focus should not be "OMG C&B SUXKOZ" it should be "SE please let us pay by other means"
.....and no Ultimate pay does not count.....

Wow, I agree with Kailea for once. This can only be a sign of the times.
Seriously though, now that we're mostly on the same page, my only nitpick is the word "please". I don't think it applies to the situation, as our only expectations as far as billing is concerned are that we can continue to make payments in a reasonable fashion, without jumping through extra hoops or being robbed blind.
Please is something reserved for someone making a request. I believe the playerbase has made it clear this is NOT a request. We EXPECT fair billing options, regardless of nationality or region.
If you don't think new summoner is better, you're playing the wrong game.
I will not be keeping my FFXI subscription going with the billing change.
I will most likely not play this game once payment is required unless palatable payment options are presented. For example, PayPal, which works fine in NA for most businesses, but apparently not with SE.
I love the changes that are being made, and want to play the game once it is "finished", but I am finding the payment options to be terrible, and less user-friendly despite SE's claim that FFXI billing was being consolidated with SE accounts in order to make it more user-friendly.
mmm true, I just have always been the type to ask nicely no matter the situation ;p ....unless of course I am really really pissed off, and that honestly does not happen as much as it should.
To be perfectly frank, I would be content with the ability to buy Crysta through the Playstation Store upon PS3 release. Since it is already required to purchase anything for PS3, most PS3 users will likely use such an option.



If we could pay through the Playstation Store itself, that would also be an excellent option.

I agree... either
1) there is nothing they can do about it at this time and don't want to tell us that
or
2) they are trying to figure out what they can do.
I think they know FFXI and FFXIV players aren't happy with the limited to no options people have been given. It would be nice just to see a Dev say 'yes we are working on this'. There is no doubt in my mind that a Dev has read this thread and staying silent is (obviously seeing some of these posts) just making people even more angry. With something this big (seeing it involves our money, security and information) and no one saying anything, not even a 'we know and we are looking into it', I feel like this thread is just being ignored.
I wouldn't even mind a 'no these are the only two options that we will have' so players KNOW and can move on, decide what they want to do and decide if they want to keep investing time into a game they might not be able to play due to the payment options... or lack thereof.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
