I was just wondering when / if you are planning on finishing the ranks in the grand companies? It feels pretty bad maxing out your seals limit on fates when farming and not being able to spend them.

Maybe adding something unique per company (a mount or something) that really stands out. It can even coast as much as 30 000 seals, I don't care as long as I can spend them! It feels like such a waste not being able to use them when there is so much you can add.

Yes please. I want to be a Flame Captain, or even a Flame Commander. There is an Immortal Flame NPC in the Flame office in Drybone who wears what I assume will be the next level uniform. Its like the Officer one, but black and gold. I want it please.

If you level a crafter or gatherer you can burn through the xp manuals pretty quickly.

There's still quite a few ranks to unlock for the GCs but they haven't really discussed when they're going to implement more stories revolving around them. It would be a good question for the next Live Producer Letter.

My theory crafting wagers that "A Maelstrom Reborn" will provide a Grand Company update, however the possibility is that could be 2.3 and not 2.2. It'll be nice to see the Grand Companies more usefull again like they were in 1.23

Since the current highest rank gives level 50 rewards, it stands to reason that future ranks will be introduced as they raise the level cap. And Yoshi's said they plan to introduce new jobs when they raise the cap. So new GC ranks, new job(s) and level cap raise should all happen at same time.

You can always buy dark matter with the seals to repair your stuff for 0 gil.
