PS3 issue after recent server maintenance -error -2137309046

Have not been able to get to the login screen. I hear the crystal music for like 5 min at a black screen and then a series of popups come up telling me I need to enter my license code. But it doesn't give me a prompt to do so instead I get a message saying "A system error has occurred -2137309046"

The next screen then says Unable to connect to version check server. [20447][1009][19900][-2140077822]

And it just keeps repeating that message again and again.

Update: I was able to login after connecting my PS3 directly to a wire cable into my modem rather than go through my wifi router. Then I reconnected my PS3 to the wifi router and it gave me the error once, and then a second attempt allowed it to connect.

I also had to call ISP tech support and have them reset the connection.

Hope this helps others resolve the issue. No idea what caused it though.
