The OP didn't state that he expected the patch next week. Although, it could very well come next week since that will be 2 weeks from mid June. Most people are anticipating the first week of July to be the patch though. So, don't get anyone wrong. We're mostly on the same page.

Personally I want more info, for jobs, mounts, companies, materia, battle, etc.

I would like a release date for the patch too, but I don't expect that yet, in fact, I'd rather have them deliver a solid patch, then appease my hunger for dates.

That being said, I would like some info on what they plan to do with the current setup of guild leves, and how they plan to address the known issues of the game, and what kind of time frame we can expect for LS management tools, along with the list of other issues.

I hope we get a producers letter, and perhaps some more previews of things that are too come, but only if the patch is close at hand, because if I have to wait another three weeks or so, then I'd rather wait to learn this info until the patch is only a few days away.

I think that if we don't get a release date next week, we HAVE to get one the week after, or at least a post letting us know if it has or has not been pushed back.

next week we might get some more jucy details on what else is in 1.18 and probably the week after we will get the patch.

the only thing that lingers in my brain anymore about this game is how long everything takes.

from 6 years of development, to 10 months of minor tweaks, to even postponing the one patch that could start an influx of players.

just how hard is it to develop for this game engine and how many people are working on this project?
these wait times are just not realistic for any MMO gamer.

3 day weekend? Not really expecting much from SE on this game for about 2 years. And at that point it will be a foot note with the games that will be out at that point.

I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more news about patch 1.18. It's like a temporary fix for that crave you know you want to satisfy.
