I have to say RE remake for the gamecube was such a nice game. I wish capcom remake 1-2 3 and veronica the same way.It is, which is sort of weird, we do have plenty of those already, but when you see the more recent Mh games sales (tri and the WiiU version) you see the western sales are going up. MH has been pretty limited outside of japan, we never got half the games and most of the ones we did get are on handhelds and mainly systems that didnt sell well (excluding the wii, which had its own sales of software issues in the first place). Just like the fantastic Resident Evil 1 remake on gamecube, you cant say it was bad and noone wanted it, you just only sold it to the lest selling system and the one aimed at a younger playerbase.
I'm glad you didn't take my "usa console gamer" comment personally, i meant it in a NO personal attack to anyone.
You could say that BUT the latter are the ones that kept the game alive and subscribe to IT when they needed our support. There's two types of hoppers:
*The casual player that tries out any kind of game anytime without any rhyme or reason and usually doesn't vocalize anything negative or positive.
*The mmo player that plays non-stop, only plays mmos and if they don't like an mmo they go to every forum they can vocalizing every negative aspect they can think of, usually in the wrong sections while trolling anyone they can that is enjoying the experience.
I meant the latter. I'm fine with casuals.
With out US . this POS wouldn't be launched and had a second chance.
Quite frankly, the only reason the game hasn't seen a mass exodus yet is simple. How many major new MMORPGs have launched after ARR? The answer: zero. When Wildstar and EQN launch, you're going to see a massive nosedive in players. Even my FC has already decided to move back to GW2.

ESO (which i may play for a bit) EQN and Wildstar pretty much will see this game tank in subs. Even though most of them are going a very action style route, its at least something newish and 2 of those are giant brand names. People who think this will some florishing 10 year high sub MMo is out of their minds the way things are.Quite frankly, the only reason the game hasn't seen a mass exodus yet is simple. Yeah it's really quite sad... If you have an ounce of skill this game has essentially no content.
My FC has even sold enough HM and EX Titan to buy a medium house. There is just nothing to do in this game.
Playing for an hour a week to do coil, knowing its another 6-8 weeks before we get new content and realizing that content will suffer the same issues in a month or two once we've downed it is so underwhelming.
I'm also tired of every boss fight in this game being a small arena with a pretty skybox. Where are the dungeons you could explore and feel like you were getting deeper and deeper into? Where is the old AQ or even hammerknell where it was a real raid dungeon. This whole, 4 arenas with teleports in between is so meh.
Here is to hoping ESO can do it better... If not maybe someone else can make a decent MMO.
Anyone who says this game isn't a WoW clone is an idiot because that's exactly what it is, only with less polish. I played WoW for a little over a year and hated it because there was literally no end-game content outside of the raids and this is exactly the same only much easier. Final Fantasy is what got me started on video games when I was a kid and it's sad to see what it's become, this game might as well just be called FF13-Online because it's pretty much one linear corridor of a game with no exploration or adventure. There will never be a substantial amount of content in this game because it's all about vertical progression and limited stats on gear to keep things simple. You'll never have a FF11 style system with a large amount of content like Sky, Sea, Limbus, Dynamis, Salvage, Nyzul,...etc because there's no room or need for it. The only real end-game content this game will ever have will be the 1 or 2 main raids and recycled primals, the rest of what they put in will just be garbage content for people who can't/don't raid.
You don't have to be a content locust to run out of stuff to do in this game.
I logged in as a tank... sat in queue for 15 mins for King Moggly Mog (cause I like him)... and several other runs (including CT). Never popped.
That's when I realized- I am playing a lobby game... trying not to be bored by playing a job I'm not that thrilled with... and still groups are not popping, because people are all just doing PF stuff to cap and get back out of game. That's not fun... and there really wasn't anything I could think of that is fun to do while waiting- I have maxed crafts, but they are pointless... and I am locked out of CT loot and coil..
It's a beautiful boring game with very little to do.
/canceled.
