Current State of the Game

@Slatervonjager its kind of funny cause your sig kind of shows how accepting people are of slow grinds and stuff like rare drops/difficult-deeper gameplay. Monster hunter is one of japan's biggest franchises ever, even in the west it sells quite well, and that game contains stuff most MMOs now treat like its the devil. It can be very grind, Its very much about rare drops, repetitive type content, Doesnt hold your hand, and it has some randomness and depth to it....yet it sells like crack cocaine and you see constant ripoffs of it (which mostly dont work out well).

It just goes to show that those kind of aspects of games still work for people...lots of them...Yet games like this fight for the opposite short term, easy peasy, hand it to me on a silver platrer style of game.

Well TBH i feel that FFXIV ARR is designed for western gamers (specially usa generation X console gamers,yes i had the nerve to said this we all think this but not many people dare to say it)
