Which should I focus on?

Hi, guys!

I've recently hit 50 and gotten my relic on 2 jobs: BLM and DRG.

The problem I'm having now is trying to decide which job I should focus on first as far as Myth Tomes gear goes. I've gotten almost full DL for BLM and DL/CT gear for DRG.

Normally, I'm always with my 4-man static that consists of a WAR, BRD, SCH, and myself.

So...thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

It doesn't matter. Just play what you enjoy the most since 4-man contents are easy enough to do so. For 8-man, just look for a group that needs the jobs you prefer to play or build one with your current 4-man static. You should get a PLD, WHM and 2 other DPS. If you decide to go BLM, best to get a DRG and a SMN. If you decide to do DRG, best to get a BLM and a SMN. But work with what you get, there's almost never a bad group composition. There are just bad players.

Not overly familler with blm gear. For drg none of the accs are bis and if you are supplementing with other gear sets you really only need 2 pieces of the primary armor slots. If you are not dead set on one or the other I would gear blm with its myth bis first after you zenith the spear. Most endgames only want 1 melee tops, since you have a lock with your other members on the holy trinity already, when you are on drg you will have no lot competition 95% of the time.

BLM benefits from allagan pieces more than DRG. DRG benefits more from myth pieces than BLM. Get those relics to +1 ( or just 1 of them, and ex primal the other, BLM preferably ) then just run with w/e you want.

I'd focus on BLM, given that you seem to enjoy both equally and there is a bit of a heavier demand for range. Will be easier to find groups and such

For your static group =>drg would be muc better.

Play whatever job YOU want to play. Remember - this is just a game. Play to have fun.
