Unusual Retainer popping up in the market. Have you guy seen this before?

Anyway, have you guys seen something like this before in your world server? Mine is at Odin.

Anyway the screenshot, there's a chinese language sentence pop up where the City-state name will appear when you mouseover the GC emblem (My game language is set to English). Moreover the retainer isn't affiliated with any city state at all (Normally your retainer should have one assigned for tax related).

I tried buying it off but gave me a transaction error, this feels like more of a RMT meddling than a bug seeing how the chinese words gave it away (Literally translated to "Unused City" or something).

If that pic is legit, one has to wonder if it is literally possible to hack/spawn items onto the marketplace. That would be a new low for RMT activity if that were the case.

I have doubts though. That looks like japanese to me, not chinese. Given that this is a japanese game, it's not hard to imagine that the database would support japanese characters. I'm not an expert in either though, but there are some characters there which exist in both, particularly 市

Those are Kanji, which is shared between China and Japan. The Korean and Vietnamese Kanji look a little different.

So looking at the picture in the original post, I would hasten to guess that what we are seeing here is more an indication of a database issue than any real illicit activity - which might go some way to explain why the item was un-purchasable.

That could still be an error with the server databases. best bet is to report this kind of thing and let SE investigate.

Yeah I already let SE know about this, waiting for them. Just posted it here to see if other servers are having similar thing.
