Question About Remote Play

I don't have a PS4 at the moment but I have a PSV saw the developers blog with Yoshi-P playing Titan HM on the PSV.

Is there, by any chance that you can just download the software for FFXIV with your PSV to play and not need a PS4 to do so? What about the PS3? I'm just curious.

With Remote Play the game get streamed from the PS4 to your Vita. Your Vita only function as a screen and controller in one. Running the game do still the PS4.

On PS3 the Remote Play function is very restricted. Better than the Remote Play between PS3 and PSP, but still restricted.

If it like the Remote Play on the PS3, you can connect with your Vita to the PS4 direct (if you are in the same house) or with internet if you are somewhere where you have internet access.
