Are we stuck with the grand company once we choose one?

I've been wondering, once we make our initial decision for choosing a grand company do we then have no option to change?

For example: why would I not choose ul'dah right now? Everyone is there and it would cost me way less anima to do it, but in reality I'd very much like to do the limsa grand company but I don't see how that will ever happen since the game doesn't make that an appealing decision.

Someone let me know if they can figure out the answer =(.

    Have you even read this?

As recruits are not yet bound to an organization, adventurers are encouraged to use this opportunity to discover firsthand with which company's ethos they most closely identify.
It was answered on the 6th post of the second page, wonder if I should copy and paste this

Did you even bother reading the whole thing or not? It clearly states that you can try them all out for their recruit missions but for the more advanced ones you'll have to stick with one.

We only have missions for recruit rank in 1.18, so it will be atleast until 1.19 you can change

Well it states you are "not yet bound" so it sounds like eventually we won't have an option to change companies

    That's exactly what it says.

You get one (possibly more?) recruit quest per company, during which you can "try them out" and see which one you prefer.

The more advanced quests will ask you to pledge to one of them and that's pretty much what they've been saying since the start of the whole Grand Company tease.

Well if things continue the way they are, the ul'dah grand company will have 90% of the people in it on every server.
