Bug or Possible Exploit?

So was just in a CT run and the alliance list seemed to keep messing up it would show that some of the alliances were not full but there would be extra people in the dungeon that seemed to not belong to any alliance. This isn't the first time I've seen this but tonight was the worst we had upto 4 people outside of the 3 parties in alliance. They were interacting with people and one even tanked the giants on the behemoth fight. So has anyone else seen something like this in dungeons and what would it be classified under?

Sounds like a bug that may be exploited if people know how. Or a glitch that throws extra people in there randomly. Either way you should post your experience in the bug section of the forums.

I've seen this. It doesn't show them as being part of an alliance for people outside that alliance but they're still part of whichever alliance has the open slot. They wouldn't receive Protect otherwise. Definitely confusing though since it seems like one alliance is perpetually short.

I just am having following picture in my mind.

Several Universes (or just two?) overlap in certain region so you see more people than possible in the dungeon.

It's just a display bug. The only time I've seen it is when one of the other alliances voted to kick a couple people and got replacements on Atomos. One of the replacements showed up in the alliance list, the other didn't. They were full, but to all of us in the other two alliances, it looked like they only had one healer. It fixed itself the next time we teleported for the next fight, I think.

I've seen it happen before. They don't "count" as part of any alliance so they won't get aoe buffs like protect or medica 2 but they can still roll on loot that drops to their correct party. They'll never get replaced by queue in progress DF'ers because the alliance is technically full. In all, it's a bug but not a terribly serious one. Just toss them a regen every now and then to make sure they don't die.

There is a bug when you join an on going instance. I have queued many times for in progress ct and sometimes when I join they are on the fight with the pots. The pots will never EVER do the buff on me that turn me invisible when the team I get assigned to gets the buff. So I definitely think there is a bug for people who join the instance as a replacement for someone who left and it wouldn't surprise me if the display error is another one of them.
