Suggestion: Beastmen Companions

Hello,

the more trusted we become by the beast tribes, and the more I learn, the more I would like a sylph or Amalj'aa friend to accept a linkpearl or friends request, so that we can hang out, adventure, and chat every day. And then I thought, well this could be a thing.

We have a chocobo companion, right? But the menu says "companions," plural. So, perhaps, if there are further ranks added to the beastmen daily quests, maybe it could be possible to acquire a beastmen ally of our own as a reward. The item used to summon them could be purchased from the vendors, or be like a link pearl for the Adventuring Fellow in XI.

This would also be great for those of us who went one skill path with our chocobos; this could be an alternate way to get the other chocobo barding, with other companions to level up alternate pathways.

Either way, I find the beastmen so intriguing, and the design and characterisation of them all is worth celebrating more.

Sounds like a good idea.
Although I would rather have chocobo breeding in first so I can make a colored chocobo. I'm sure your idea could be done sense I believe before ARR, a companion like person was your retainer you hired. But it would be ideal to see if we can expand the beastman love to the other races like the kolbolds because I actually like them a bit more then the others.
