Wood Wailers

Is it possible to get their armor and mask (and green color)? I really like how they look and I'd love to dress as one just for fun roleplaying and immersion xD
Already almost got the 21k ish seals I need for my full officer armor set from my GC. But I don't know where or how to look like the wood wailers if it's even possible. Pic for reference~

Well, the armour at least is a leather jacket, which is easily dyeable (from what I understand, the closest colour to the Wood Wailers' uniforms would probably be Nophica Green, fittingly). As for the mask, I'm pretty sure you can get a half mask like the ones the Wood Wailers wear, but whether it's dyeable to the same colour as the ones the Wood Wailers wear I have no idea. Incidentally you receive a full face mask at level 15 if you started the game in Gridania, but that covers the whole face, and not just the eyes.

EDIT: the closest I could find that matches the Wood Wailers' masks by searching Gamerescape's database, unfortunately is a dated halfmask, meaning it's recipe has been removed and is not attainable unless you already attained it in 1.0: http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Dated_Lauan_Halfmask

And the mask I think is a unique model, best you could do is the caster masks.

There is a level 1 all jobs mask you get from the gridania questline should you have started in that city.

I found olive green to seem a bit closer but I guess that's just me 8D
And nope, sadly I will not be able to get that mask :x
Looking for an actual mask like theirs. Sadly the Legionary Visor is not dye-able but it will have to do.

Raptorskin Jacket turned out to be closer than leather jacket, though I wish I could dye out the red on the sleeves lawl~
Works though so I'll take what I can get 8D

Do you mean the Monoa Mask? I would like a half mask, not a full mask :C
I think those full masks are ugly but that's just my opinion~

Wouldn't HQ Raptorskin Jacket work too? And it's dyable as well.

AFAIK, being Aetherial doesn't radically change the item's appearance.

Both the raptorskin HQ and NQ should look the same (and be the same as Aetherial). Just the confusion is that it has to be a RAPTORSKIN and not one of the other leather jackets to get the tassles n whatnot.

Edit: actually now that I look through the database they all have the tassles, too lazy to look at them closely but I assume the higher level ones have a bit more detail. xP

Other jackets are also very close to the looks, so i guess it doesn't matter too much. But I do like the raptorskin look. Each one just has slight differences on details (totally not wasting tons of gils buying out the market place 8D). Only wish the red would go :c

Also found out their boots are dyed Hunting Moccasins~
Edit: err well hunting Moccasins are VERY close to their boots anyways

There's always the option of crafting it yourself, or gathering the materials and asking a friend to craft it for you. I know I'd craft it for you if you'd like, if you were on my server :3

true, but I don't have leather worker yet 8D
Been focused on fishing, armorer and mining till they get higher. Using crafting classes to make gears for alt classes~
But I'm making a tank next so I've been focused on armorer *-*
