I been wondering, most of the buff icon or something would be show at the left top.
It show here 'Proper Care' = Gear wear is reduced.

So my question is, what does this mean?

If you look at any of your equipment in-game, you'll see a stat called "Condition" near the bottom. It'll be a number between 0% and 100%. This number goes down as you use your equipment in battling, crafting, or gathering. When it reaches 0%, it breaks and is made useless. You can repair your equipment yourself if you have leveled the appropriate crafting job, or you can visit a Mender NPC and pay to have your equipment repaired.

The buff you speak of is a Free Company buff that reduces the rate at which your equipments' Condition goes down, which lets you battle, craft, or gather for longer before you need to repair.

To offer some further explanation, a Free Company buff is a buff that affects the whole company, purchased using free company points. These points are earned by doing most tasks, so by being an active player you're helping to earn points. Only one may be in effect at a given time however (Unless they hit rank 8, at which point they may have two). Proper Care is one of the more common ones, as reducing how much players need to spend on repairs can help both the level 50 players and the newer ones.

A full list of FC buffs can be found here: http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Ca...Company_Action . Two things to note: First, the second tier of buffs replace the first tier as far as I know. Secondly, the bonus xp to battle, crafting, and gathering only affects xp from performing actions (killing monsters, gathering an item, or crafting an item) and do not increase the xp from quest, guildleves, or FATEs. As such, they won't necessarily increase your xp rate much.
