Chocobo Companion Skill Points Reset Ever Going To Happen?

I just wanted to see if maybe we could get a dev's response on if chocobo companion skill points are ever going to get reset or allow us to use an item to reset them and most importantly is this ever going to come out any time soon? It's been quite awhile since we have heard anything about this. I know there are a lot of people that really want chocobo armor. Mine has been rank 10 forever and I can't get the whm set for mine just cause I put 1 point in the other 2 classes thinking it wouldn't matter way back when 2.0 first came out.

i would take a guess and say that this will be released alongside or before the chocobo ranch. which in turn, i believe releases after personal housing.

I think they pretty much have to since most people didn't know.

But don't matter to me I prefer my Choco to be able to tank or heal so I'm keeping it that way

They said yes there will be in a future patch. No further information is available right now, just be patient (SUPER hard I know).

Since we talk about a potion or something that causes a simple reset of all so far used skill points, I'd also like to have it rather sooner than later. It's something small and not really an outstanding feature so SE, can I have it. Pretty please? :P

Yeah, I just hope they didn't forget about adding it. I'd love to see this resolved with the next patch.

I think the issue is that there's nothing stopping people from just grabbing 4 reset potions (or whatever they use) and getting all three bardings, then going back to the theorycrafted-OP-cookie-cutter-hybrid.

The whole reset basically encourages people to be more copy/pastes of the next guy. I might not be part of the majority when I say, I don't think everyone should be able to get everything, and that sometimes you should have to live with the choices made. It's not a popular opinion, but I'm not aiming to be the best there ever was or try to collect'em all, either.

I'd happily use it to get all three sets of barding but in the end, I'd still end up with a 100% tank build since that is what will help me the most. I'd be curious to see a percentage breakdown over who chose Tank, DPS, Healer, or Hybrid.

My biggest fear is that it'll either be a few million gil or a hundred thousand GC Seals to change and that you'll start over at level 1 and need to regrind the entire thing.
