Contrary to seemingly popular belief the MMO world didn't begin with WoW... It was more of the Apocalypse.

But using your "MMOs have changed since then"
MMOS were originally under 10 don't remember exact prices... games have come a long way. There is a lot more data. Better servers, more internet speed needed, etc.



As Rekujen said. If $15 is too much you have other problems. That is 50 cents a day. If you average an hour a day you are getting the cheapest entertainment out there besides playing kick the can
