FFXIV Not responding

I don't have a PS3, either, unfortunately

You have long time before they release it maybe This nov or Q1 of next year. You no longer can return the game due to you using the Code so you pretty much stuck with it i would say save some money and went for ps3 the game right now is not that good they need a lot of fixing but by ps3 it be great.

I've been talking to a friend that plays FFXIV, and both her and her boyfriend play it on laptops way older than mine. Their laptops are Acer and Dell, respectively. They've had no issues with it at all

Some laptop can play because they have good video card build in yours is cheap pretty much only good for playing low end games you could play wow and final fantasy XI online with that but not Final fantasy XIV or any game that run more on GPU.

What setting do they play on this so said laptop? and do you know the spec for it?

Most good 1k laptops can play FFXIV there a few 500+$ that can play but your video card is not good enough ask them what video card they have and that pretty much tell you why they could run and not you.
