Steps:
1. Start game
2. Play game
3. Game screen goes black – NPC and PC names remain, minimap remains, chat window remains. Everything else is black. totally unplayable Issue is well documented (see links below)

Connection Specs
- Type of internet connection/provider – cable, direct Ethernet connection

There is a problem with the game and first gen PS3 where the screen will go black randomly during normal play. The screen goes black, but the gameplay continues. Player names, mob namess, maps, chat, all remains. But you cant see anything else.

This problem is well documented on the forum, and elsewhere on the internet. Post after post, but nothing on how to address the problem:

This has happened to my husband on his PS3 a lot the last few days, also major lag in dungeons we never had issues with prior to this week.

Thanks. I had posted once before a couple of weeks ago. It was closed and I was told to use the "template". So this is my attempt at complying with that request. But seriously, the template is totally irrelevant. This needs to be looked at.

I would like to keep the post alive, and not have it found "resolved". I spent a good 15 minutes crafting "in the dark" last night. I am not progressing in my DOM classes because my next step in the storyline is to go into Braylock's. As a healer, I cannot heal with a black screen.
