    Did you seriously not read...any of the previous posts that actually mattered? The packet loss stems from Level-3, an independent CDN which many ISP's rely upon. Yoshi-P would have nothing to do with this. We can only assume due to the numerous number of tickets that they are discussing ways to fix the issue with Level-3, but it truly comes down to their end. Not SE, not your ISP even, but Level-3. Please go back and look at the posts that explain all of this better than I could before posting nonsense.

    Regardless, those gifs are recorded, meaning there was already lag.

    But more importantly, they are so irrelevant it doesn't even matter. These are indeed old gifs, regarding an issue from months ago that has been fixed. The -current- lag issue has nothing to do with it. See previous posts for explanation (directed at OP of images).

    Relax, I find them funny images. Also I'm pretty sure the positional update was only applied to certain instances, not to everything. I found the update helped in titan personally.

    Anyway, I'm not here to join the argument.

    *edit* given your edit to your post I don't really know why you even posted the gifs if you just found them amusing? How does that help anyone in any way? There are enough people already swinging blindly at random targets no need to add fuel to the fire without any solid information or background knowledge.

    There is way too much name-calling and bickering here. The issue is simple: Level3 Communications is doing a shoddy job.

    Anyone who's worked IT would know this is pretty standard. Level3 is a garbage company offering garbage service. The particularly awful part of this is that there is nothing we or SE can do independently.

    SE doesn't work directly with Level3 nor do any of us. It is up to our ISPs and the SE datacentre ISP (likely Bell) to put pressure on Level3 to fix the route. And it is very, very difficult to communicate that.

    I'm sure anyone who's dealt with one company through another has experienced this. "No it's their issue" is the easy thing to say to get you off of the phone and to dodge ownership of a trouble. It will take ISPs from both sides to actually fix this and I don't see that happening.

    The tracetests show that there is something odd happening at Level3. If it were possible to actually speak with Level3 as a consumer this may be able to get fixed faster but when you have to work through your own ISP to do so it's going to be worse than pulling teeth.

    I appreciate your explanation and it gives insight but -- Responsibility rightly belongs with the company which has proffered this mmo service/product as advertised.

    Sub-par. Is there no OTHER company which can be hired INSTEAD of Level3 Communications? They have a monopoly eh?

    Seems there isn't a node with Verizon.xxx.xxx.Level3.net. Hmm...

    Ormuco doesn't own a backbone like Verizon and Level 3 do.
