Dear Square Enix Make this game more like classic Final Fantasy

Make Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn more like classic Final Fantasy with MMO elements like open world , PvP Zones and story line expansion and less like a traditional MMO. Also can we get a marriage system and the ability to customize everything about our character in game with the exception of race.

PvP was never a Final Fantasy element.
Full character customization was never a Final Fantasy Element.

The Jobs are based on equippable stones much like the Crystals of FFIII on.
The storyline is chalk full of FF tropes and callouts, right down to the theme of the crystals.
All of the basic FF Elements are there, Mootles, Magitek, Cid, Bigs, Wedge, Gilgamesh.

Every FF game varies the system somehow. To try to claim one as 'the' system to base Final Fantasy off of insults the series's trend of redefinition, in my opinion.

I think she meant she wants to merge classic final fantasy with modern MMO elements like open world, character customization and PvP zones and I agree. I don't know why everyone on this forum is borderline aggressive towards PvP being in the game (not aimed at you specifically) if you don't like it, don't do it. The game needs PvP to be competitive with every other modern MMO in existence regardless of whether it is classic final fantasy or not. It's not going to go away.

Don't know what to tell you buddy except recommend FF dimensions and especially the DS III remake. They are good games.

If you want a 'classic' feel MMO just like the old Final Fantasy games, you could try playing Ultima Online Nothing like that 'classic' top down view with an open world in an almost 8-bit type (feel) gaming environment

But yeah.. Classic Final Fantasy is and was.. a single player game.
