This game feels more like a RPG then a MMORPG!

Every notice how hardly anyone talks in this game. That was the best part about FFXI. Getting groups and making friends along the way. I can count on 1 hand how many friends I have in FFXIV. People hardly even talk in my FC. I miss the days of having a full friends list in FFXI.

Most people are talking via VoIP. But I will agree, I have very few friends on my F list. However, I consider everyone in my LS and FC a friend. Just haven't added them to the list.

I think a lot of that has to do with Voip (which should have been included on ps3 version) and also that a lot of people use ps3 version... If they don't have a keyboard connected, it's an absolute nightmare to try and type a sentence...

^this not to be rude but I make friends all the time from running PF groups and just talking to random ppl, and my FC is pretty talkative also most of the time...... you may need to just take the first step and be more social! ^_^

Yep, I'll be searching for new FC closer to next big patch. Right now I'm just playing casually gearing out some jobs and helping out my remaining FC members.
