No, the only time I was ever booted from a group was during Crystal Tower. I was playing Scholar, and apparently much of the rest of the group was full of FC-mates, including the other healer. We get to the final boss, and they kick me for ... I assume ... wanting their healer to get dibs on the drops there. I'd been a great participant the whole time. The kicker? I was just there for myth, and had already won my item for the week. It was quite disappointing.
Edit: Now that I think on it, yeah, I guess I do understand the reason why I was booted lol

When the whole vote to dismiss even came out people were getting booted left and right >.<
I remember in a AK run a DPS pulled a mob that they didnt want pulled and they voted him out, i was his replacement and i refused to speed run because of the tanks gear and I wasn't going to keep wiping after the first 2 times.. i was also then booted
I mean i get running with your friends and wanting stuff done fast but if you're gonna be like that, i keep a notepad on my computer of all the players who have either treated myself or the group horribly and have kept an eye out so i never wind up in a group with them again.

We kicked our 2nd Tank yesterday in CT.
At the Bone Dragon, instead of dealing with the Skeletons, he just sat there on the plattform (really, with the emote-action)... I asked him if he´s inteded to just sitting around, watching us fight. He said yes, so I told him to explain himself. He was thinking "i´m not Tanking weaklings..."
no further comment.
Later on, Wiping at Behemoth, everybody got cocky, talking to each other in a very insulting way...
So yeah, the Votekick is sometimes a nice Feature to have, and very easy to abuse too... some don´t have the patience to Fail even once...

Never a mind was changed on an internet board, no matter how good your arguments are...
Before King Behemoth the tanks were discussing who will MT/OT/towers. I jokingly said "me i'll do it. i may be a bard but i am a tough bard"
A bard from a different alliance pulled King Behemoth and got everyone killed. My alliance immediately thought it was me WITHOUT paying attention to that other bard's name. Kicked me without saying anything in party.
I was capped on tomes and got my loot for the week from Thanatos that run so they pretty much saved me some time anyway.
Vote kick in CT because of SB, never trolled and did my job (ok, this happens)
Vote abound in CT because....I really dont know why...

So to sum up the two pages of this thread: vote kick is not used as it is meant to be but people abuse it for the smallest problems or because they are greedy. That's exactly what I thought this system so many wanted will be like when it's live.

Sadly this happens but you will not have anybody say " I was trolling and got booted"

Only been booted once, one Stone Vigal - but that was on final boss with a minute left on clock :/ so a spike kick.
It was first run at the dungeon and yeah I may have got us wiped a bit at first (when we first entered) but after 10mins I'd gotten used to the enemy setup.
Sadly final boss kept wiping other party members because they stood there and got froze/bound when the damn thing was flying around.
If I screw up often and get booted suddenly and they clarify with me, well I will understand that.
But then to boot me out of nowhere, that surely is reportable offense.
