What carries the most in solo queue?

So I've been in and out of the PVP scene kinda playing whenever I feel like it because pugs really annoy me.

But as I'm playing I see a certain pattern. It seems whatever team has the better DPS or more "stacked" seems to win no matter how good you are as a healer.

When the gates open up and I see familiar good players on the other side versus my team of PVE heroes, I know I'm in for a rough time.

But on the other hand I hop in the queue and I'm in queue with twinked lv 40s or good i70s then the other healer seems to die in the first 5-10seconds.

I've also noticed that certain classes if played right always dominate the other team. Mostly any good MRD with a good DRG and the healer dies in seconds. Add a good SMN who splits the dps among the dps instead of chasing the healer down and it's over.

Tried playing lv 50 bracket and there's too many people or bots that queue in PVE gear and as a healer it's not fun at all healing casters who are in i90 pve gear.

MRD is the safe bet. This one might surprise you, but if you don't mind taking a leadership role 100% the time, BLM can do pretty well solo queue nowadays. Sure, you get the occasional idiot who won't listen to what you say or follow your marks, but mostly with competent players you can eke out a win playing your game right.

Good Healer carries everything, just keep stuff alive till LB and pray your mdps has it bound.

No one class will carry a team IMO. It is the player not the class. You can have a great healer, but if you have subpar dps it will be tough regardless how long you stay alive. I would say certain players carry teams not just a class if that makes sense.

Totally agree, being a focused class makes me healer-dependent most of the times. SMNs can pretty much pressure the entire opposing team with its dmg and burst down their healer, but if I get no heals or if the healer instantly dies at the beginning of the match, you can barely do the same dmg output . I've won matches 2vs4 just by having an awesome healer on my side.

I can't do anything myself as a healer if i have awful supporting people, but given just 1 solid person i can at least make a stand against even a premade team. No matter how perfect i try to play, i can't heal the suck out of other people.
