    Dungeons Opening Up To Explore.

    I've noticed since this game 1st came out back in August last year
    that every time I go into a dungeon how much I would like to fully explore it.

    I thought what if SE made it so if you completed the dungeon you could go back in it with out using duty finder.
    Once completed they would open up so you could go into areas that you could only look at the 1st time round.

    Things made available:
    • Chest with different items ( Gear allocated to ur job or a rare item or so on)
    • Miner's & Botanist (sorry about spelling) could do there harvesting in these dungeons.
    • Special Bosses like FATES but more tactical where players actually have to think instead of spamming the same attack. Random appearance allocated to there dungeon .
    • NPC in the dungeons with side quest in them.

    This would give FFXIVARR a open world feel to it. Instead of SE giving us HM versions of all the dungeons which would get boring very quickly.

    Another thing is that Duty Finder would still be in the game this would not have to be removed. I have enjoyed using duty finder because of it i have made some amazing friends and partied with amazing people.

    Just wanna say thank you to people that have been adding amazing ideas to improve on which i first stated lets keep it going.

    I think it'd be really cool if they made dungeons for gatherers - getting a group of gathering jobs together to achieve certain goals within a dungeon.

    That's what i'm talking about. It would make it even more interesting for the gathering jobs. And we could start seeing more FC to do with gathering. And if they made it so every so often the was an gathering event in different dungeons that would have rare item that would be needed to make or cook that item.

    This could be ether traded in to an NPC for gold or money or something else.

    That would be difficult to implement without turning said dungeons into basically stealth games. Of course, I doubt XIV's engine can actually do stealth correctly (hitting check points like in the sylph daily isn't stealth, btw) so...yeah.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    Keep in mind that Gathering jobs have the skill to make ur self invis can't remember the name of the skill. You would just use that when your inside the dungeon.

    I meant more along the lines of how Skyrim or Thief implement stealth. Hence my saying "getting stealth correctly".

    How did they do stealth in those games? And if you was a dev how would you take those ideas from those games to improve the stealth element that gathers have, or do think since its not correct like you stated that Yoshida team should just redo that whole element for gathers?

    I'm really interested in your thoughts and opinion. Anything that how help the devs improve this game is fantastic imo.
