Favorite final fantasy game and why?

Ahh yeah. I went through 7 for story only when I was kid. I actually kinda understood the story but never finish it till few months ago I finally played it on ps3. I missed lot of stuff going on 7 like I did with 10 and 12 when I was kid. That\\'s probably because my English language gotten better. I hardly understand 12 at all till I recent play it as I\\'m playing right now. I suddenly understood that story. Not only that, also RPG itself.

Definitely grab it when you can. It\\'s nothing short of excellent. I was not a huge fan of the 13 series so it was an easy choice for me.

Nothing can beat the childhood memories of popping Final Fantasy 2 in the SNES and having your whole outlook on games changed. A whole village being burned? People sacrificing themselves to save the party? [SPOILER] Finding out the villian is your own brother only to have him realize the ere of his ways in the end?

Gosh it was a lot to take in when you're not even a teenager yet. The only feelings that came close to that is what Sephiroth did to Aeris in FFVII but I was a teenager by then and was already a bit open to things.

FF7 was the first time I saw a curse word in a video game. (Barret at the midgar playground) Unfortunately my Dad saw it too, and I had to sneak play the rest of the game.

FFXI.

While there are many things about that game that I'm grateful I never have to see again (like, throwing up my LFP flag, or all the lame travel nuances),

I miss:

1. NINJA
2. HNM
3. SKY/SEA
4. A viable Endgame.

Final fantasy 9!
I loved the cutesy anime feel to it. Zidane is pretty cute too <3
It also has my favorite story of all the final fantasys as well~
And some very unique characters lol
I loved all the cutscenes as well. You often had a lot of things you could watch and enjoy or laugh at it~
I just loved the over all anime/cartoony atmosphere with the graphics and humor to it *-*
The weird sci-fi turn at the end was kinda random imo though lol not that I didn't like it, but I found it weird 8D

I have never played a game so long with never running out of things to do like in XI. That game had danger, it was exciting and sometimes even infuriating.

FF6 because you didnt win. Sure it may have had a story that seemed like you won but think about it did you? The answer is no.

Final Fantasy Tactics is my favorite for story, characters, music, graphics, and gameplay.

If we're talking about numbered series, my favorite is 4. It was my first, and I care about those characters the most. After that would be 6, 9, 7, 5, 10, 12.

Also you guys, Final Fantasy Dimensions is a really fun game if you're looking for a newer game with the old style. I'm enjoying it.
