I'm sure that I'm not neglecting my life while exploring Eorzea. quite the opposite in fact. I felt a lot more alive when traveling Eorzea than the few times "real life" requires me to leave the game.

I don't think anyone spends more than a couple hours on the game anymore these days, other than the Sunday night rush to cap myths and get your CT piece.

Other than that it's log on do daily beastman quests and duty roulette then cya tomorrow!

Some sad person might be trying to clear Titan EX/Turn 5 by hopping parties on the 'employment board of Eorzea'. Met a guy who literally went through parties all day for two days without sleeping, then promptly saying "yeah well I can sleep when I die" after suggesting to get some shuteye.

These statements are falsified by all the people playing the game everyday. I'm on mateus, which I hear is the smallest server, and there are loads of people to play with.

Besides, who pays a monthly sub to play for an hour or two one day a week?...no one.

on that we agree. it's 65€ if you pay for six moths (24 weeks) so playing only two hours a week would mean each hour of play costs you about 1.35€. too expensive imo. better we spend about seven hours a day (and seven days a week) at eorzea so the price drops to about 0.22€/hour (that's a lot more reasonable)

Sometimes I do :/ Real Life gets in the way sometimes e.g. 3+ nights working the 11pm-7am shift, so I end up using the few hours between waking up at teatime and setting off to work again at 10pm to hit gym and do house things.

As for remember to exercise I do try and get to gym each day, failing that I at least blast out 200 situps/140 leg raises and some weights at home - gotta keep those abs sharp haha


But I figure as long as I can get 8hrs a month online at least, it breaks down to less then £1 p/h of play, this week with LR:FFXIII coming out is going to cause me a problem. Do I wait til my sub runs out to play LR or do I try to play both games?

Eat - You don't really need to for the low level content, but for the higher level stuff it's really helpful.
Sleep - Rested XP is nice, but I don't think it's really necessary.
Drinking - It's what makes CT bearable.

Exercise - We spend the entire day felling the baddies of Eorzea and now you want us to hit the gym too!?
