Any chance of not losing abilities when doing low level dungeons?

This doesn't actually happen in MMOs where the syncing works as described (i.e. scaling down stats and power of abilities without removing the abilities themselves).

But still the stronger ability is there giving them an advantage over those not being highlevel.

So what exactly does make sastasha more interesting when you can use scaled down 50 abilities? If anything it makes it more boring.

It's the difference between pressing 1 button over and over and over again, or pressing 5+. One button instances are dull as all get-out.

There are people who play this MMO besides myself. I happen to enjoy helping people. It would be nice if my skill set wasn't reduced to one or two buttons whenever I did. How is this hard to understand?

You know, I help people all the time, and you won't see me begging for my high level skills. Why? Because I know how to play my classes also on low levels to their full potential not needing the extra skills.
Yeah of course a low level tank has problems keeping hate with missing skills. But it wouldn't make the live easier for new tanks, if other player had even more skills to use to make their live hard.

I think that poster has a point. I regularly observe downsynched level 50 characters using awful rotations in low-level content, leading by bad example, not explaining mechanics, et cetera. Basically, if you're doing that, you're not really helping new players, and shouldn't be complaining about how the down-synching system works. I have no objection to abilities carrying through a down-synch if they're nerfed for that, but let's face it: That's so much work that it doesn't really warrant the time on behalf of the developers. And your motivation should be helping new players, not me-me-me. I'd rather the developers work on new endgame content than make things even easier for these people who aren't willing to adapt to low-level situations.

I'll bite, and keep it short, because the following is quite universally true:

If you only use one ability in a dungeon, you're actually awful.

Less universally so, but there are no low-level dungeons until Haukke Manor story mode where you need to spam heals on the tanks to keep them alive, because they are handed sufficient gear and skills to not drop dead immediately. And by then you already have more of your bread and butter abilities to be less bored. :P
