Controller Cross Hotbar improvements

Recently I noticed the new feature of holding both triggers to pull up a specified quarter of a cross hotbar, the expanded hold controls.

At this time I was also playing/leveling my Scholar, which I found a little difficult due to the pet hotbar.

So, with that in mind, I wanted to see if I could use the dual trigger press to select the pet hotbar instead so I could deactivate it so my controller won't cycle to it.

Basically, please allow this hotbar to be useable for this feature.

All you have to do is disable the pet hotbar in the config menu then stick all the pet actions you want to use on the hotbar controlled by the L2/R2 triggers simultaneously.

Yeah but then you still can't just quick tap the R1/RB button on the controller to flcik really quickly between hotbars. I have managed to fit every action for all the DoW classes into two which makes it very simple to just flick.

SCH/SMN seem to have so many abilities that it might push to a 3rd and a pet hotbar on top of that means limiting it to two can't be done to quickly flick between.

You can change your hotbars to auto w weapon draw. Make weapon draw #1 pet #2 and 3rd hb dual trigger hb #3 without setting draw on #2. Should cycle around it

Just to make sure that I am answering you correctly, it sounds like this is what you want to do, other than the fact that you don't want it to also cycle through that bar (#8) by pressing r1. What I do to get around this problem (because it's also what I do) is I've just trained myself to press r1+triangle (for bar 1), since the only time i need to switch back to bar 1 would be from #2, or if I'm on my pet bar (8) i can just simply press r1 and go back to it.Alternatively if I wanted to go from my pet bar (8) to hotbar 2 i would be using r1+circle, but the way I have my bars set up I cant really think of any reason I would ever need to go from pet bar directly to bar 2. I guess at the beginning it may be a pain to get use to using r1+triangle as reflexively as you normally tap r1, but it shouldnt take very long to get it to where ur hitting both at the exact same time.I know it may not be the fix your looking for, but maybe would at least help you some for now. This is what I do for my SCH btw, my SMN I have everything down to 2 bars total, since 99% of the time time you will only be using garuda, and 99% of that time you will only be using contagion, So the r2 side of my bar still has all placement/orders like normal, the l2 side of my bar only contains contagion, then the other smn cd's i couldnt fit on bar 1 which seemed to fit better on 2 anyways.... Spur, rouse, enkindle, raging strikes, LB, garuda smn, and something else i cant think of of top of my head, maybe eye for eye or something.

So far this is what I have had to do for both SMN and SCH and being a tank or DPS 99% of the time and sticking to two x-HBs I have got a habit of quick tapping R1/RB. Ah well, guess I will just have to deal with it if I can't get to work what Killabye suggested.
